Second Chance
The Lord has given me a second chance,
A chance for a new life and a fresh start;
When I accepted His Son as my Lord and Savior,
And asked Him into my heart.

He forgave my sins,
And wiped away all of my tears.
In Him, I am now white as snow,
And I need not fear,
*
For He is always with me,
Wherever I may go.
He sends help to me when I am in need.
His timing is neither too fast, nor too slow.
*
I like to read His Word and pray,
Before my day has begun.
For He has given me the greatest gift;
The blood shed on the cross for me,
By His one and only Son.
